Of Fashionation fame, online blogger Dottie Tan came by school one morning for a press conference. Questions flew and the air, very tensed as she answered each of them aplomb.
So I asked her, "Have you ever felt so sick of Fashion you felt like giving blogging up?"
Of course me being me, it was not as straightforward as that. I fumbled, boy did I fumble, and clearly annoyed my class. But I wanted so much to ask this question because I was going through a very rough period; that being the uncertainty of my future upon graduation. As a fashion student in my final year, I was so sure I've had enough with the frivolous world of Fashion.
Her reply to that was yes, sure she has felt that but she overcomes it by taking frequent and necessary breaks. People in the media naturally expect you to be in-the-know so it is good that you know your terms. If not, be sure to brush up and look it up the minute you get wind of it. It's not always easy.
I think it's safe to say I've a new found respect in local bloggers.
